This coming Sunday afternoon, November 20, at 2:00, children and adults alike are invited to gather for our first Turkey Bowl Football Game at Kolbach Park. You don’t need to bring anything except a desire to win! What could be more fun than football in the park on Thanksgiving Sunday afternoon?


Our annual Fall Congregational Meeting has been scheduled for this coming Sunday morning, November 20, immediately following the 10:00 service. The only item of business is the presentation of the proposed 2017 Church Budget. Remember, we don’t vote to approve the budget until our Winter Congregational Meeting at the end of January.


The next Winter Farmers Market of the season will be held this coming Saturday, November 19, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in our Fellowship Hall. The market offers an opportunity for local farmers and artisans to sell produce, meats, cheese, etc. For more information, please contact Pat Wilborn at 284-1970 or


Our annual Christmas tree sale begins the Friday following Thanksgiving and runs through Christmas Eve. We sell the finest quality trees all grown in Wisconsin! Once again, everyone is invited to participate. For the first time ever, you may sign-up to sell trees online. If you sign-up in the next few days you get your choice of the best days and times!


Our annual Christmas Cookie Sale (In Memory of Sally Ziegler Gilson) will be held on Saturday, December 3, from 9:00 to 12:30. Members and friends of the church are invited to bake and contribute their favorite holiday cookies. Please drop off your cookies anytime on Thursday, December 1. You are also invited to help assemble the boxes of cookies from 6:30 - 7:30 on Thursday evening.


Each Thursday evening during the church season of Advent, December 1, 8, 15 and 22, you are invited to join Jeff for a time of Silent Reflection and Prayer followed by the celebration of Holy Communion. We will gather in the church sanctuary at 6:00 and be on our way by 6:30. Please help spread the word!


On Sunday morning, November 13, we welcomed new members into our community of faith – Julie Calder (Caitlin and Brady), Payton Greisch and Brad Katzer, Eric and Tina Olson (Kylee and Collette), and Kai-i Tien (husband, Heinzel, and children, Leah, Lily, and Lucas). Please give them a hearty welcome.


Thank you to all the folks who participated in the Church Directory photo sessions. If you were not able to come in, and still wish to be included in the upcoming Church Photo Directory, there are two options. You may go to another church in our area in the coming weeks. All children 4K through 7th grade are invited to participate in our Church School program, held on Sunday mornings at 10:00. Church School Schedule


Each Sunday morning during the 10:00 service, our church provides a Nursery for children newborn through 4-years-old. Parents are required to register their children, and to sign their children in and out of the nursery. We want to do our very best to make the nursery a safe and secure environment.


Each Wednesday at Noon, you are invited to meet Jeff at church for lunch and Bible study. The group always takes time to visit before reflecting upon the lectionary reading for the upcoming Sunday. Coffee is always provided, but please bring your own lunch.


Men in the church are invited to gather for breakfast every Thursday morning, at 8:00, at the Dockside Deli. The group always has fun considering a Question of the Day. If you are able, please come and join the conversation.


A gentle yoga class is held in Fellowship Hall every Wednesday evening from 5:15 - 6:15. The cost is $10 per class. For more information, please contact Susan Niederfrank at


An AA Group meets at our church every Sunday afternoon at 3:00. For more information, please contact the church office.


If you wonder what you missed, copies of last Sunday’s bulletin are always available on the literature rack in the church entryway and CDs of the service are always available in the church office.


We continue to offer a gluten-free option for receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion. The gluten-free communion bread is purchased commercially, and prepared separately, so that there is no chance of contact with our regular sourdough communion bread.
