Celebration Wall Leaf Order Form

Creekside Commons and the Celebration Wall

For more than 15 years members and friends of our church have been working to restore the green space on the northwest corner of Grand Avenue and Webster Street in downtown Port Washington.

In the summer of 2006, the church purchased the land from the City of Port Washington for one dollar with the understanding that we would continue to develop the land as a public green space open to the members of the church and the community.

The small triangular shaped piece of property offers easy access to Sauk Creek and a wonderful bit of solitude and quiet in the midst of the city.  Last year, our Sustainability Committee named the space Creekside Commons.

This spring the Sustainability Committee is announcing the creation of the Creekside Commons Celebration Wall.

The wall was designed by Adam Brown, a member of our church. It offers an opportunity for members and friends of the church, along with the larger community, to celebrate important individuals, families and events by purchasing an engraved leaf.

The Celebration Wall will stand on the Sauk Creek side of the old retaining wall, essentially hiding the wall behind a wall of green ivy and golden leaves.

For more information about the Celebration Wall and how to purchase a leaf, please call the church at 284-2022 or email CreeksideCommons@portucc.org.
